Support
A little help, when you need it.
Answers about records, currencies, data, and getting started with Monaura.
Which languages are available?
Interface language is separate from the base currency. All three apps support English, Simplified Chinese, Spanish, French, Brazilian Portuguese, Indonesian, Korean, Japanese, and Traditional Chinese. HarmonyOS follows the system by default and offers these languages in Personalization. On iOS and Android, app language is managed in system settings.
What is Monaura?
Monaura is a personal finance app for recording income and expenses, following budgets, and understanding your accounts. Its money visualization turns entered amounts into banknotes and coins.
Where are my financial records stored?
The current app stores financial records locally on your device. Monaura does not run a developer-owned server for your ledger. Export important records before removing the app.
Can I track different currencies?
Yes. Accounts can use different currencies, and reports use your selected base currency with available exchange rates. The banknotes in the demo illustrate an amount; they are not a currency exchange.
Does Monaura connect to my bank?
The current experience is built around records you enter and supported CSV imports. Do not assume that bank feeds, automatic account access, or cross-device synchronization are included.
Where can I download it, and what does it cost?
Visit the download page for current platform availability. Where a public release is available, follow its store link to check pricing and compatibility before installing.
How do I keep a copy of my records?
In Settings → Data Management → Backup & Restore, create a .monaura file and choose a destination you control. It contains accounts, transactions, categories, tags, budgets and their relationships, and can be restored across iOS, Android and HarmonyOS. Images, attachments, app settings and reminders are excluded. Restoring replaces current financial records after confirmation and cannot be undone within the app. Create a backup first if you need to keep those records. CSV remains a separate exchange format. This website does not receive or restore backup files.
Can I import a CSV file?
The app includes CSV import with a preview and per-row validation. Review supported columns, currencies, and errors in that flow before saving. Do not assume every bank’s CSV layout is supported without checking.
Why does a converted total differ from an account balance?
An account balance follows recorded movements in its own currency. A combined report converts available currencies to your base currency. Check the period, exchange rates, and any missing-rate messages before comparing the two.
How do I protect access to my app?
Use the app’s available App Lock and privacy settings. Authentication depends on the device and platform. A device security feature does not create a backup of local financial records.
Do the website and app share financial data?
No. The website uses fictional demonstration records and does not connect to an installed app’s ledger. Changing the website language or theme does not change your app settings.
