Money, made visible
Monaura starts with an everyday question: what would make money easier to understand? Clear amounts matter. So do the accounts, dates, and choices behind them. The app brings those parts together in a focused personal finance experience.
The visual idea is simple: enter an amount and see it represented by banknotes and coins. It gives a familiar shape to a number while keeping the exact amount readable. That idea sits inside a practical recording flow, alongside categories, accounts, notes, and other useful context.
Built around useful tasks
The product is organized around recording income and expenses, understanding accounts, following budgets, and looking back at trends. A daily receipt provides a compact way to review a day’s records. These views connect to the same recorded activity rather than asking you to maintain separate versions of your finances.
Monaura favors clear hierarchy, calm surfaces, restrained motion, and readable figures. Its dark and light appearances share the same purpose: make the records and the next action easy to see.
Personal records, kept close
The current app stores its financial records locally on your device. It does not provide a developer-operated ledger server or promise cross-device synchronization. You can use supported exports to keep a copy of records you want to retain.
The website uses fictional examples to explain the product. It does not connect to your app, ask for your bank credentials, or save the animated transactions in a ledger. Read the privacy page for the distinction between the app and this website.
An independent product
Monaura is an independent project by Kyle Lee. Public download channels and contact information are maintained on the download and support pages. The current iOS experience is the design reference; platform release status and available system features are listed separately.
